I got admission in engg(food tech) in pb univ,chd, 2 yrs back.Now I'm not able to score well. should I do BA?

I think i can score well in B.A. (english honours). Engineering is tough for me. Should I try completing this 4 year course, i.e., engineering in food technology? Or straight away shift to arts.I did not appear in my 4th sem exams bec I was tense n not prepared. I belong to a middle cl Indian family. My parents r govt employees. My age is 19.5yrs
