Resignation?

i have recently been suspended from work pending allegations of fraud. In the meantime I have been offered another job and so resigned from my present position (that im on suspension from) Up until yesturday i ahd been told that i must return my company vehicle but today i resigned .....they are still asking for the car back yet i have 4 weeks notice period. have my rights now changed ?
