Hockey skate edge dulls pretty fast?

For some reason my left skate's inside edge dulls really quick since last week. The edge was not burned or anything but it just keeps getting dull and it gets nick really easily. Plz tell me why and tell me how to solve this! I had to sharpen my skates 3 times in 1-2 weeks.
