Hey my wife acts like a shy child in large outdoor gatherings whats wrong with her now ?

You cannot force anyone to do anything. She is your wife. She is your equal not your daughter. She doors not have a personality defect. Sorry you are so embarred with her. Too bad you don't take your vows seriously. For better or for worse. Oversold she has an issue that needs to be looked at. It sounds like the start of panic attacks. This can be very crippling to people. They cannot interact in public. She may become a recluse. She does need to talk with someone. She may need medicine for this but you cannot force her. If you had this issue, how would she treat you? I bet she would be supportive. Too bad you are not there for her. She deserves better. Give her the support she needs.
