Could i wear UGG's to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey?

Me and 2 friends are going to sixflags tomorrow and I have gone 2 other times and the first time I wore flip-flops and they just made u put them off to the side of the ride and get them when it is over. The second time I went i wore sneakers, but got a BAD blister on both heals of my feet because of it so im not really up for wearing sneakers. But this time its gonna be a little chilly and i just wanted to know if u could wear uggs, would it be any different then throwing them off to the side like flip-flops? or should i wear my sneakers, or maybe bring them just in case? any information PLEASE.
